1. How do I create an account?
Click the 'Create Account' button just to the left, then choose the type of account you want. You can choose from the basic or complete account. Once you have chosen the type of account you would like, fill out the necessary fields and submit your information.

2. How do I bookmark homes?
To bookmark homes and have them reappear in the myFSBO section of the page when you return to our site, you must first create an account. You can create a basic account FREE. As part of the basic account you can bookmark homes as you browse, sign up for email notifications, and create automatic home searches. To create your basic account for FREE, click on the 'create account' button on the left navigation menu on any page, click on 'create account' in our myFSBO section on the right navigation on any page, or click here and we'll save you the hassle of finding it yourself.

Each time you view the listing detail of the homes you searched, you will see the "Bookmark for myFSBO" icon under the homes photo (See below).

Click on the link and the home will automatically be added to your personal favorites.

3. How can I be notified of new homes entering FSBOWisconsin?
Create a free account here, then login to your new myFSBO account. You will see a section called 'Automatic HomeSearch.' Click 'Add a New HomeSearch' to specify the kind of home you are looking for, then click 'Submit Search Request' at the bottom. Homes matching your description will be sent to you on a regular basis.

4. How do I list my house?
Create a complete account here. After you have chosen the type of listing and options you want, you will be able to enter your home listing information. If you're not ready to enter your listing immediately, you can always login to myFSBO later and finish your home listing, add photos, or update your account information.

5. How do I find a home on FSBOWisconsin?
Our advanced home search feature allows you to find the right home for you. You can search by city, FSBO ID number, MLS number, or by a variety of home features. Or, you can view all the listings by home age, price, or city.

6. Does FSBOWisconsin accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept both Visa and MasterCard. All of our transactions are done in real time and are 100% secure. Your credit card information is encrypted with today's top internet security measures to make absolutely sure that your information can not be obtained or viewed by anyone.

As we see the need for additional cards (Discover, American Express, etc.), they will be added.

7. I entered my information into my account and my credit card was processed, but I don't know what to do next.
You should be at the stage where you begin to enter the information for your home listing. The '5 Steps to FSBO' column on the left should be highlighting 'Step 3', and in the middle of the page it should say 'Sell A Home' at the top. Enter your home listing information into that form.

If you wish to enter your home listing later, you can always login to myFSBO to enter your information then.

8. How can I add my home to the Featured Homes section?
To add your home to our featured home section, you can choose this feature by selecting it in our Optional add-ons section when choosing your package or you can sign up for our Premier Listing service and receive it absolutely FREE.

9. How do I install my sign?
To install your sign, we suggest purchasing a rubber mallet. This will allow you to pound the sign into the ground with less damage to the frame. Pound your sign on both sides of the frame so that the legs go in first. Then you can readjust the height and/or balance of the sign thereafter.

Place your sign in a highly visible area. Try to position the sign so that it can be seen from multiple angles. If you live on a corner lot, place the sign at an angle so that it can be seen from all connecting points.

You might ask "How do we get that sign pounded into the ground over the winter months?" The easiest way is to pour RV Anti-Freeze in the place you will be positioning your sign. This will unfreeze the ground making it easy to pound in. If you need to get the sign out, follow the same process above and it should remove easily.

We suggest RV Anti-Freeze because it is environmentally safe. Please do not use regular car anti-freeze since it can cause harm to your yard as well as the water we drink.

Remember, certain laws require you to have the sign at least 3 feet from a public sidewalk. Please check with your local government to see if your area has any special laws that apply to placing your sign in your yard.

10. How do I upload my photos?
After you enter your home listing information, and have approved the preview of your ad, you can then add a photo of your home. Or, you can always add a photo later in myFSBO.

If you need your photos returned, please send a self addressed stamped envelope along with your photos and we will return them within 5 business days of receiving them.

We suggest that all listings have a photo attached to them. As the saying goes "A picture speaks a thousand words." And first impressions are important. When someone is looking for a home, one of the first things they want to see is "What does it look like." Showing a picture not only gives a first-glance of your home, it also helps sell the house based on the exterior quality of the home.

11. I'm having trouble filling out the information online. Do you have any other options for listing my home?
Sure! You can also email us your home listing information, and we will enter it for you. Just send an email to info@fsbowisconsin.com, and we will be happy to assist you. Or, you can print out our online form (click here to download our online form) and send it to the address below and we'll be happy to assist you.
